An Korea India Young Artists Exhibition in Korea

The 2nd Korea-India Young Artists Exchange Exhibition is an international exchange plan designed to broaden mutual understanding and deepen friendship through the expansion of cultural and artistic exchanges between Korea and India.

This exhibition will encourage young and competent young artists in the Korean and Indian art worlds, and through these exchanges, young artists will communicate and stimulate each other, providing opportunities for development and strengthening artistic ties.

The Korea-India Young Artist Exchange Exhibition is sponsored by Hyundai Motor Company and is being held in collaboration with the India Museum in Seoul, INKO CENTER, a Korean cultural center operated by Hyundai Motor India, and the Indian National Academy of Fine Arts (Lalit Kala Akademi). After selecting 10 young artists each and exhibiting them alternately every other year in India and Korea, we continue the exchange exhibition of young Korean and Indian artists through an exhibition program in which additional artists are selected again.

In November 2012, INKO CENTER successfully held the 1st Korea-India Young Artist Exchange Exhibition at the gallery of Lalit Kala Akademy in Chennai, located in Chennai. The two exchanges continued.

Through the creative and original works of selected young Korean and Indian artists, you will be able to find the high level of skills and potential of Korean and Indian artists, and their endless passion for art.
